Good Bye To You
Poet: Julie. Hebert, (c) 2011

How do you say goodbye,
To someone as sweet as you?
I never thought this day would come,
That farewell would feel so blue.

I will miss you went your gone,
I will miss our laughs and cries.
I will miss everything about you,
Even your unhelpful advise.

We’ve had our highs and lows,
And we’ve always come out on a high,
Its just too bad that now your leaving,
And now we have to say goodbye.

I hope one day to see you again,
As I am feeling very blue,
So here I am to say good-bye,
Don’t forget me, I won’t forget you.
Leaving Me
Poet: Julie Hebert, (c) 2011

I need you now,
Not then or there.
How can you be,
Leaving me.

For this I’ve felt,
And never liked,
The thought of you,
Not being there.

When will you come,
To me again,
To make sure everything,
Between us is fine.

For if you leave,
I’m scared to say,
One day you’re heart,
May no longer be mine.
There Is No Goodbye
Poet: J. Hebert, (c) 2011

There is no goodbye, only hello again,
There may just be time in between.
When I say goodbye it means something different,
A way of ending our routine.

I would prefer not to say,
Words that have such an ending.
For our time together,
Requires so much mending.

Time apart can be cruel,
But we don’t have to quit.
Its our choice how we,
Decide to perceive it.

So lets never say goodbye, only hello again,
This way our time apart is just missed.
When you return I will come to your arms,
And await to the moment I’m kissed.

Remember Our Love
Poet: Julie Hebert, (c) 2011

The next time we will meet,
May be many moons away,
But don’t let that,
Sever our love.

Together we are strong,
And away we can be too,
But it takes both of us,
To tighten the rope.

So you remember me,
And I’ll remember you,
And we’ll both be mindful,
Of our love.

But I won’t say goodbye,
Only see you later,
For this will ensure me,
Your return.

An Unwanted Goodbye
Poet: Julie Hebert, (c) 2011

My time with you has mean’t so much,
I only wish it didn’t have to end.
I realize not everything stays the same,
I just don’t want any changes to impend.

But like most things,
What goes up must come down.
I feel that together with our love and commitment,
We can find the common ground.

So lets stay strong and keep our love alive.
As I am not ready to give in.
Avoidance now, but soon reality,
One last kiss in our looney bin.

So our time together has come to an end,
And we have to accept the terms.
Lets say our goodbyes and kiss one last time,
Before our biggest fear is confirmed.
