Leaving Me

This poem, Leaving Me, was written during a breakup. How difficult it is when a relationship is over. Especially when one person doesn't want it to end.

Let the words of this poem and the thoughts and quotes give you the inspiration to move on. Share these with someone who is going through an ending.

Leaving Me
Poet: Julie Hebert, 2011

I need you now,
Not then or there.
How can you be,
Leaving me.

For this I've felt,
And never liked,
The thought of you,
Not being there.

When will you come,
To me again,
To make sure everything,
Between us is fine.

For if you leave,
I’m scared to say,
One day you're heart,
May no longer be mine.
