Time To Start The Day

It's time to start your day,
Wake up and get on the move.
Sleeping in is nice,
But you've got lots to prove.

You'll prove to yourself,
That anything is in your grip.
All it takes is hard work,
With yourself as the whip.

Anything you want to do,
Understand it can be done.
As long as you stop wasting,
The day thats just begun.

So wake up and rise and shine,
This day is just for you.
I can't wait to see,
What it is that you will do!
More Thoughts about Time:

It is amazing how time goes by. In my life I began to realize just how fast life goes by during two major events in my life:
1. when I had children - it seemed one day they were born and the next day they were starting school - time passed so quickly. Now they have children of their own - where did the time go?
2. on my 50th birthday - me 50, no, impossible, the party must be for someone else : ) . It was like a wake up call, I couldn't believe that I was 50, so I have decided to stay 43. That decision has not stopped time from going by quickly.

When you are young, time doesn't seem to matter. But, after you experience events in your life, when you realize that time does slip away, it makes you realize that sleeping your day away is truly a waste of time.

It doesn't matter how successful you are or how much money you make, we all have the same amount of time and when it is gone it is gone. Recently a friend of mine said to me, "I can always make more money, but I can't make more time." How true!

It is my hope that this short poem encourages you to use your time wisely, don't sleep it away!
