Need to let go then read one of our poems. Poem to encourage and inspire you to move forward. You will find
verses that may give you the wisdom to set you free.
Sometimes, letting go is the hardest thing we have to do, but when you look back
6 months from now you will realize that it was the best thing you could have done.
We have a tendency to try and hang on rather than move on, but in the end, this
only hurts us.
Share these poems with someone who needs to move forward and let go
of the past, or a person, or a situation. Poems have a way of sharing wisdom that
can help us, it may be a verse or a line that sticks with us and we can recall
just when we need a reminder!
There are times that the best advice
Is to pick up the pieces and just be nice
Fighting and screaming does no good
It just reflects a negative attitude.
What goes around comes around
It is a true saying I have found.
The best advice is to let it go
And not let your hurt and anger show.
Most times it is hard to do
But hanging on and being blue
Hurts you more than any
And that is worth less than a penny!
What is the point of hanging on to a grudge
Who are you to point the finger and be the judge
Letting go will help you more
It is, for sure, a great cure.
What is the point of being mad
In the end, it is just you who is sad.
Moving on will help you more
It is, for sure, a great cure.
What is the point of trying to force love
It is like putting on a mismatched glove.
Set yourself free will help you more
It is, for sure, a great cure.
What is the point of not forgiving
It is like missing out on living.
To forgive will help you more
It is, for sure, a great cure.
For all of the things that upset you so
The best cure is letting go.
Move on, don't get stuck
Holding on and in a rut.
To Let Go Author Unknown
To "let go" does not mean... to stop caring, it means I can't do it for someone else.
To "let go" is ...
not to cut myself off, it's the realization I can't control another.
is not to enable, but to allow learning from natural consequences.
is to admit powerlessness, which means the outcome is not in my hands.
is not to try to change or blame another, it's to make the most of myself.
To "let go" ...
is not to care for, but to care about.
is not to fix, but to be supportive.
is not to judge, but to allow another to be a human being.
is not to be in the middle arranging the outcomes, but to allow others to affect their own destinies.
To "let go" ...
is not to be protective, it's to permit another to face reality.
is not to deny, but to accept.
it not to nag, scold or argue, but instead to search out my own shortcomings, and correct them.
is not to adjust everything to my desires but to take each day as it comes, and cherish myself in it.
To "let go"...
is not to criticize and regulate anybody but to try to become what I dream I can be.
is not to regret the past, but to grow and live for the future.
is to fear less, and love more.
Before we judge others
We should realize there is more than we see
Before we think about us
We should think about helping others
Before we spread hearsay
We should remember how stories get twisted
Before we react in angry
We should take a deep breath
Before we indulge in self-pity
We should open our eyes and see others in worse situations
Before we criticize
We should think of how we could encourage
Before we focus on the negative
We should always look for the good.
Before we accept failure
We should always look at what we have learned
Before we think all hope is gone
We should pray and believe in the power of prayer.
By letting go of the before's
We will find the opening of new doors.
Habits can limit our life
To the point life is full of strife.
Letting go and changing our attitude
Will take us to a higher aptitude!
Forget It
Poet: Jesse E. Campeil
Why grieve o'er errors of the past?
Need such our future sway?
The past don't make us right or wrong.
'Tis what we are today.
Old "Yesterday" has lived its life
Why linger 'mid its sorrow?
It bears no part in future joy.
Forget it for - tomorrow.
We hope you found a poem that suits your needs;
one that
expresses your feelings but one that encourages you to move on. By moving on
you are setting yourself free rather than drowning in pity about something that
has happened in the past. When you need to let go of is a past love, a
hurt, or a disappointment, whatever it is looking forward rather than looking
back can be a positive way to let go. Share these with others and keep moving forward!
