In God we trust, the Father above,
Creator of all, in His endless love.
Jesus, His Son, born of Mary's womb,
Suffered, crucified, in death's gloom.
With the Holy Spirit's help, we confess,
Believing in Jesus, we find rest.
Born of the Virgin, lived as man,
Died for our sins, God's perfect plan.
From death He rose, victorious and bold,
Ascended to heaven, as was foretold.
Seated at God's right hand, He reigns on high,
And from there, He'll judge both low and high.
In one holy Church, we find our place,
United in faith, saved by His grace.
We await Jesus' return through heaven's doorway,
To take us home, where we'll forever stay.
In this belief we hold, it stands the test,
Against false teachings, we attest.
In God, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we believe,
Within their eternal glory, we will nevermore grieve.
Amidst the uncertainties of career choices or life decisions, a believer can find comfort in trusting God as the ultimate source of guidance and direction. By acknowledging God as the Creator and source of all things, they can surrender their anxieties, worries and indecision and seek His wisdom in navigating life's complexities.
In the midst of hectic schedules and mounting stress, a Christian can find solace in the promise of rest through Jesus Christ. By recognizing Jesus' sacrificial death and resurrection as the means of salvation and forgiveness, they can experience inner peace and renewal, even in the midst of life's challenges.
When facing personal or global crises, such as illness or social unrest, believers can find hope and assurance in the promise of Jesus' return. By anticipating His eventual coming to establish His kingdom of justice and peace, they can find strength to persevere and remain steadfast in their faith.
In a fragmented and divided world, the unity and fellowship experienced within the Christian community offer a sense of belonging and support. By participating in the life of the Church and standing together in faith, believers can find encouragement and mutual edification, overcoming the divisive influences of society.
In an age of misinformation and moral relativism, the unwavering commitment to orthodox Christian doctrine serves as a bulwark against false teachings and ideologies. By holding fast to the truths of the faith, believers can discern truth from error and remain anchored in the eternal glory of God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
As we reflect on the words of this poem, In God We Trust, may we be reminded of the firm foundation our faith is built upon—the love of the Father, the sacrifice of the Son, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. In a world that shifts and changes, these truths remain steady.
Let this poem not only inspire belief but encourage you to walk daily in trust, in hope, and in unity with others who share the same faith. May we live each day with hearts anchored in God's promises, knowing that in Him, we will never walk alone.
