If you can't see it in my eyes
If you can't hear it in my voice,
If you can't feel it in my arms,
then I'm telling you now -
I love you
And I always will.
No greater day have I known,
Than when I beheld you so splendidly shown,
Your dazzling smile, kind eyes and warm embrace,
All my worries and fears melted without a trace.
Your presence grants me a blissful peace,
A confidence of joy that won't ever cease,
And I thank the stars above it was fate that brought us two,
For on this day my destiny certainly came true.
When I met you my life did change
My thoughts you did rearrange.
I didn't realize that love could be so sweet
I am so glad that we did meet.
Your thoughtfulness and love, I treasure
It is beyond any measure.
Thank you for loving me
My life is complete and I'm so happy.
Your Biggest Fan
Poet: Catherine Pulsifer
The years have passed
And yet our time
Together feels like we
Are in our prime.
Your thoughtful ways,
And your kindness shows
In happy times and
Times when we face, life blows.
My love for you
Continues to grow
No matter what
Life throws.
Thank you for being
My loving man
I love you,
I am your biggest fan.
If I Were A Breeze
Poet: Helen Barron Bostwick
If I were the morning breeze, love,
If I were the morning breeze
I'd bring you the buoyance of all glad things,
A clamor of song, and a flatter of wings,
A waterfall's laugh from the hill side borne,
A laborer's whistle across the corn.
I'd clear your brow of its weary lines,
And freshen your blood with a breath of the pines,
And a waft from the far salt seas, love
If I were the morning breeze, love,
If I were the morning breeze.
But if I were the evening breeze, love,
If I were the evening breeze
I'd bring a little white moth to your bower,
And the drowsy breath of a lotus flower;
The stir of a bird in its nested sleep,
And of dews adrip in the grasses deep.
I'd bring you the sound of a muffled oar,
And the lipping of waves on a reedy shore,
Like soft good nights spoken low and lower;
And a word that is sweeter than these, love
If I were the evening breeze, love,
If I were the evening breeze.
You smile going out the front door,
You turn and say "I love you more".
"No way, that can't be", I say,
"I love you more in every way!"
You wink at me as the door shuts,
Oh, how I love him, more than our mut.
Think back to when we first met,
I didn't really like you, yet
The time we spent together
Was better than the weather.
Getting to know you was a surprise
You certainly were not a typical guy.
You're sweet, kind, and thoughtful too
Without you in my life what would I do?
I'm so glad that our paths did cross
Not meeting you would have been a loss. With you, in my life, my world is full of happiness
I just want to say, I love you, yes, yes, yes!
Memories
Poet: Catherine Pulsifer
Memories we have shared,
laughter and smiles
Together we have walked
many miles.
Each day I thank
God above
For you and
for your love.
And may the years ahead
continue to bring
More memories and all
that love does bring.
Good night, my love!
Adown the hills are shadows creeping
And heavy clouds are with me weeping.
While winds are sighing
That summer's dying,
And I, in loneliness so sad to-night
Look out into the fading light
To say, "Good night, my love! "
Good night, my love!
The memory of the summer past.
Its love, its joys will ever last
Though with the fading leaves.
My heart now grieves,
Hope's light within will brightly bum,
I know a spring-time happy will return.
Till then, Good night, my love!
Good night, my love!
Tho' it is long to wait through wintry weather
For that bright spring when were together,
The storms all past
That now our sky overcast,
Shall each the other's heart make glad
As spring the barren fields in verdure clad,
Yet I can wait. Good night, my love!
Good night, my love!
One whisper more I send to thee
With whom my thoughts will ever be;
There shines afar
A beaming star.
That lights anew my hopes of love.
It seems a promise from above!
Good night, my love!
