Blessings Abound
Poet: Catherine Pulsifer
In the midst of trials, blessings abound,
For every trouble, a treasure is found.
When the storm rages, and darkness prevails,
Strength arises within, as resilience unveils.
Through trials we grow, learning to endure,
Transforming setbacks into successes sure.
So let us not fear troubles that may arise,
For in their embrace, blessings harmonize! -
Friendships' Cherished Grace
Poet: Catherine Pulsifer
In myriad forms, blessings may manifest,
But none surpass friendships' cherished grace.
Through trials faced and victories confessed,
True friends stand firm, a constant embrace.
Their presence, an anchor in murky seas,
Their laughter, a balm for the soul's lament.
Bound by love's threads, entwined destinies,
Friendship's blessings, eternal and unspent. -
Blessings Of Grandchildren
Poet: Catherine Pulsifer
In the twilight of my days, I find solace anew,
For in the laughter of grandchildren, blessings ensue.
Amidst troubles that weigh heavy on this aging heart,
Their innocence and warmth provide a brand-new start.
Their tiny hands, a reminder of life's fragile dance,
With each touch, they offer divine second chance.
Through pain's embrace and shadows old-age brings,
My grandchildren are the bright rays their love sings. -
Mother Dearest
Poet: Catherine Pulsifer
Oh, mother dearest, what a sight to see,
With an apron on and sleeves rolled up to the knee.
But let me tell you, dear mother divine,
Your talent for chores? Well, it's simply not thine.
You weren't born to sweep, mop or scrub,
Or find joy in folding laundry like a whiz just off the pub.
No, your true gift lies in something much more grand,
Receiving love and blessings from your spouse and brood on this land.
So put down that vacuum cleaner and leave those dishes behind,
For we're here to shower you with affection, sweet and kind.
So mom, rejoice! Relax and take it slow,
Because your true purpose lies in being loved by us all -
Not Fathers' Chores
Poet: Catherine Pulsifer
Fathers, they ain't made for moppin' floors,
Or scrubbin' dishes, but they help with the chores!
Their hands also give a firm grip,
For blessings, bear hugs and high fives, oh what a trip!
They're skilled at dad jokes, much to our groans,
With winks and laughter that lights up our homes.
So yes they help with the chores, it's true,
What Dad does best - he loves me and you! -
Gifts Of Blessings
Poet: Catherine Pulsifer
Volunteers, relentless souls entwined,
In hearts sincere and purpose kind.
Their labor, not merely work confined,
But gifts of blessings they leave behind.
To those whom they lend a helping hand,
They bring hope, healing, where shadows land.
Their touch extends to all with grace,
A selfless glow upon each face. -
Steadfast And True
Poet: Catherine Pulsifer
In your presence, a gentle light does shine,
Love and compassion, ever so divine,
Through the years, you've blessed me true,
With affection pure, steadfast and true.
Today, as you mark another year of grace,
Let these words resound in endless embrace,
A heartfelt wish to reciprocate,
Your love, on this special day I dedicate.
