Your Glory Will Reign
Poet: Catherine Pulsifer
Oh, almighty God, You have given us life,
We come before you with praise and gratitude.
You are our master and we admire You.
Creator of heaven and earth,
We bow down in worship to show You reverence.
Your holiness shines strong from above
Your grace has soothed us with eternal love.
In reverence, we give thanks for Your power divine,
Your glory will reign forever over all time. -
Lord We Offer Unto Thee
Poet: Edward Osier
Worship, honor, glory, blessing.
Lord, we offer unto Thee;
Young and old, Thy praise expressing,
In glad homage bend the knee.
As the hosts of heaven praise Thee,
May our songs with theirs be one.
We would honor, love, and serve Thee,
Till on earth Thy will be done. -
Blessed Is The Lord
Poet: Catherine Pulsifer
God, we praise you each and every day
Please guide us and help us not to go astray.
Your grace and mercy we do not deserve
To show appreciation and thanks, You we do serve.
We praise and worship You each day anew,
Joining our voices in prayer so true;
Lord, we worship you so
Blessed is the Lord, from whom all good flows. -
Psalm 29:1-2 (NLT)
A Psalm Of David
Ascribe to the Lord, you heavenly beings,
ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name;
worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness. -
Psalm 100 (NLT))
Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
Worship the Lord with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
Know that the Lord is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations. -
Praise My God
Poet: Catherine Pulsifer
I worship and praise my God,
No matter where I roam.
He carries me through each day,
And blesses me at home.
No matter what I'm doing,
Or work I have to do.
My love and joy for Him,
I give my all too.
So with every breath, I take
And heartbeat in my chest,
I worship Him with thanksgiving,
My God, You are the best. -
I Praise You
Poet: Catherine Pulsifer
God, almighty and divine,
I praise You in unwavering faith and love;
Through each moment comes a sacred rhyme,
Which draws me ever closer to Thee above.
Your grace transcends my feeble mind,
Rending hope of peace eternal sound;
From the depths of my soul, I humbly bind
My supplications in prayer and song. -
Express The Thanks I Have
Poet: Catherine Pulsifer
No amount of worship can express the thanks I have,
For the life I live, graced with beauty, no one richer could ask;
The sacred love that radiates from our Lord each day,
His grace and mercy too deep for mere words to lay.
The ways He guides me through struggles and calm days alike,
Subtle reminders to thank Him every morning and night;
His healing embraces and deep understanding we seek,
No amount of worship can ever express my thanks to God that I speak -
Worship in The Valleys and On The Mountain Tops
Poet: Catherine Pulsifer
In the valleys of life, I worship God,
Though sorrow and suffering, not feeling whole,
For without Him we are nothing but lost souls,
Despaired and forlorn, our faith may peak low.
On the mountain tops of life, I also praise,
When blessings rain from skies of blue.
Contentment will be all around us because
True joy comes only from Him to me and you.
We have nothing without His love and grace,
No lofty elevation can lead us to salvation,
For it is only through His Holy Son
That we can seek our redemption.
That is why in times of treasure and strife
I cling to His words and humbly worship Him
Thanking Him for my life and my many blessings
As without Him, my life would be dim. -
Forever You I Will Worship
Poet: Catherine Pulsifer
Oh Lord, I am in awe of You
My heart is filled with admiration and devotion.
Your love endures forever, Your grace knows no bounds
Every day I kneel to thank You with so much emotion.
I lift up my voice to proclaim my love for You.
My unceasing praise towards You will never cease,
Forever You, I will worship, as long as I am alive
Thank you, God, for bringing to my life so much peace. -
Give Thanks
Poet: Catherine Pulsifer
God I see you in the sunrise
I see You in the sky
I praise You for the beauty
Each morning when I arise.
And when the evening comes
Lord, I praise you for the day
With You walking with me
I give thanks to You and pray. -
Endless Worship
Poet: Unknown
Grant I may ever, at the morning ray,
Open with prayer and consecrate the day;
Tune thy great praise, and bid my soul arise,
And with the mounting sun ascend the skies.
As that advances let my zeal improve,
And glow with ardor of consummate love;
Nor cease at eve, but with the setting sun
My endless worship shall be still begun. -
Sabbath Worship
Poet: Daniel C. Colesworthy
How glorious is the sacred day,
Which God has kindly given.
That in his earthly courts we may
Renew our vows to Heaven.
Here, with his people, we can raise
To ears that never close.
Our voice of gratitude and praise,
Forgetful of our woes.
Shut from our minds each worldly thought,
Each idle wish and vain,
We'll profit by the doctrines taught,
And rich instruction gain.
Let no unhallowed smile appear
Upon a careless brow;
For we have come to worship here,
And pay to God our vow.
If sinful folly's curious eye
Wanders in idle gaze,
God will not bring a blessing nigh,
For our unmeaning praise.
O, may we each true faith and love,
And holy zeal possess:
Thus antepast the rest above
Of perfect blessedness. -
Worship Only To God Almighty
Poet: Catherine Pulsifer
This world offers so many things for us to worship,
It can be easy to get caught in a trap, that's true.
But one thing holds true no matter the cost;
God Almighty is the only one we should completely submit to.
As children of God, we shouldn't bow down to anything else,
We should try to live how He desires us to go and bring,
Respect, love, and obedience that reaches deep within our being.
Let’s offer our worship only to God Almighty, for He alone is King. -
Prayer
Poet: John Burton
I often say my prayers,
But do I ever pray;
And do the wishes of my heart
Go with the words I say?
I may as well kneel down
And worship gods of stone,
As offer to the living God
A prayer of words alone.
For words without the heart
The Lord will never hear:
Nor will he to those lips attend
Whose prayers are not sincere.
