oh how true it is that we would never be
what we are today without our mothers.
I ask you, God, to bless all of our mothers, to give them the
wisdom they need to teach their children Your ways through Jesus Christ.
Grant them, God, the strength they need to help their children grow to be
Your servants throughout their life.
In Jesus' name, I pray.

Heavenly Father,
I pray this special Mother's Day that you graciously bestow Your patience
to all mothers to deal with challenges and difficulties that they face each day.
Help them, Father, nourish the gift of children that You have given them.
In the name of Jesus I pray.

Almighty God,
I know that each day You give us is a special day. It is a day to be used to Your glory.
And, on this particular Mother's Day, God, I pray
that each mother not be forgotten within Your sight;
that each Mother be shown the love they deserve from their children.
May you, God, grant them peace and the unfailing love that only You can give.
Let her life's example be the guiding path to follow as each child
grows in their love for Jesus.
May her day be one of celebration not grief; may her day be full of love not scorn;
and may her day be one of adorning love from all her family.
In Jesus' name I pray.

Dear Father God,
we humbly come to Your throne for all mothers to whom you
 have given the opportunity to
love, to encourage, and to guide their precious little children.
Let us raise our voices in praise for them giving you, God,
our honor and glory for all You do for our mothers.
In Jesus' namewe pray.

Heavenly Father,
we thank you for the many, many sacrifices, the selfless acts of love
bestowed upon us, children, for our mothers.
Without them, Father, we would have no one to rock us to sleep,
care for our cuts and bruises, or to encourage us when we fail.
Thank you, Father, for Your love extended to us by our mothers.
As we give you praise and thanks in Jesus' name.

Oh God,
I thank you for my mother. I know I do not thank her often enough for all she does.
In most days, God, I take her for granted selfishly believing that she will always
do what she always does without complaining or expecting anything in return.
Forgive me, God, for being selfish thinking only of what I want
and not giving anything in return.
I pray, God, that you would bless her this Mother's Day and
for everyday for all she is and does.
I pray in the name of Jesus.

I thank you for my mother.
I thank you that you have so graciously given to me a Mother who never fails me.
I thank you and recognize this special Mother's Day for her never ending tasks of
washing my clothes, preparing and cooking my meals,
for bandaging my little scrapes and cuts,
and for guiding me through loving discipline when I' wrong.
Bless her, Lord, as your servant.
In Jesus' name I pray.

I offer this pray for all those single moms who cry out for
your support, strength and love for their labor of love without the father of her children.
I thank you that you surround all of these children who
may never know their earthly father with your love.
Some fathers, God, have died, and some have deserted their families.
But, no matter the reason or circumstance, Father,
I pray that you will give your unfailing love,
compassion and guidance to all single moms.
Father, I pray that you will give these mothers your daily bread of life,
of food, of comfort, of strength, and of encouragement.
I pray in Jesus' name.

Heavenly Father,
may all mothers realize that you love them. You love them, Father,
not because they are perfect for none of us are.
You love them because they are your special possession set upon this earth
to nourish, help, and support all of their children.
I know, Father, that their days are filled to the brim with tasks and chores;
I know that their days are long often without any time for rest.
I pray, Father, that you would grant them your comfort, your peace, and your rest,
as I pray in Jesus' name.

Father God,
please bless all mothers on their special day this Mother's Day no matter where or who they are.
For, God, I know that each mother has has to endure many long days,
hardships and concern over the well-being of their flock.
But, God, I also know that with your daily blessing, they have also experienced
the joy and happiness that shines through
little eyes and smiling lips. Let these mothers continue to comprehend your grace,
your compassion and your vitality of spirit.
I pray, God, that you will protect them from evil and from those who
would cast them into unappreciated roles.
I pray in Jesus' name.

Lord God,
I pray that all mothers everywhere feel equipped and supplied to be able to
tackle and overcome every challenge, every difficulty.
May the glorious anticipation of each day greet them as they awake to embrace
the care and joy that they bring to their children.
Help them to understand and accept that you are always
with them through every obstacle or demand.
Share with them, God, your counsel and your wisdom so that they might be
able to adequately and compassionately respond to each and every need in the day ahead.
In Jesus' name I pray.

Oh Lord,
how wonderful you are. I give you all praise and glory and honor.
I thank you on this Mother's Day that in this very day and in every day you
have provided a well of love to them from which they can draw.
I thank you, Lord, that you have given them the power to protect their children in every
manner, and that you have blessed them with little souls,
your children, to nurture, to comfort, and to praise.
I as, Lord, that you help her sow the most holy of Godly seeds
within their minds that they are able to
take with them and to share with all others they meet today and in all the tomorrows.
All of this I pray in Jesus name.

Lord, give the mothers of the world
More love to do their part;
That love which reaches not alone
The children made by birth their own.
But every childish heart.
Wake in their souls true motherhood,
Which aims at universal good.
