For Mum

Sometimes we get busy in our lives each day,
We neglect to tell people things we should say.
As I pondered these thoughts with you in mind,
I realized how important it was for to find time.

I want to tell you my thoughts on paper,
So when we 're apart you can read them later.
You've always been there for me this I knew.
You're not just a Mother, but a dear friend too.

You're a very special lady, who showered me with love
I am thankful for you as I've told God above.
This poem cound never be sent to any other
Because it's written specially for you, my Mother.
