Look For The Good
Another way to change your thinking is to look for the good in every situation. We all
face challenges, difficulties and disappointments in life. But how we react to them
will determine our happiness and our success.
In her book, A Year of Positive Thinking, Cyndie Spiegel said, "By using repetitive mental activities like positive thinking, we can retrain our brains to become more inclined toward positive feelings."
No matter what the situation or what the mistake made is, you can find the good in it.
It may not be the outcome you wanted but you can learn from it. You can identify one thing, no
matter how small it is find the good and, more importantly, stay focused on that one thing. By
changing your focus you change your thinking.
To quote Charles R. Swindoll, " I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our attitudes."
Find the good because in the words of Buddha, "All that we are is the result of what we have thought. The mind is everything. What we think we become."
