A few years ago, when I found myself stressed, my colleague asked me the question, "Will this matter in 5 years from now?". I can remember the situation clearly and when I thought of the issue that was causing me stress I realized that the situation would not matter in 5 years. Almost instantly my stress levels reduced and I found I had a clearer perspective on the issue.
Will this matter in 5 years from now?
