Nova Scotia

"If the sea can shape an entire way of life,
imagine what it can do for you.
Slow down. Kick Back. Relax."

Imagine scenery where the cliffs and the ocean come together. Nova Scotia has 7600 kilometers of seacoast. No matter where you are in the province you can reach the coast within a 2 hour drive. Nova Scotia has 7 areas for you to explore:

- Evangeline Trail parallels the Fundy coast where the tides raise up to 16.5 metres

- Glooscap Trail known also as nature's jewel box where you can explore pristine beaches where agates and sparkling amethysts can be found.

- Sunrise Trail follows country roads that wind along sandy shores. The Scottish heritage is experienced at the Highland Games with the sounds of the bagpipes.

- Cape Breton Island is a part of Nova Scotia not to be missed! Two wonderful trails are in Cape Breton - the Ceilidh Trail where the bagpipers and fiddlers celebrate Gaelic culture, and the Cabot Trail where moose and bald eagles are part of the landscape along with the humpback whales seen in the waters of the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

- Marine Drive along the eastern shore is a playground for nature lovers with unspoiled beaches and tidal inlets.
