New Brunswick New Brunswick, our home province, is more than a visit, it's an experience! For many years New Brunswick was known as the picture province. Has a wonderful boardwalk - Parlee Beach, miles of beach, warm salt water - Saint John City Market, one of the oldest markets in Canada - Le Pays la Sagouine, will give you a true appreciation of the Acadian - Village Historique Acadien, an attraction portraying the lives of Acadians between 1770 and 1939 - Kissing Bridges located in Sussex, eight historic covered bridges in this region - the Mighty Miramichi, home to a world famous river known for its salmon-rich waters - Mount Carleton, a provincial park located in the Appalachian Mountain Range - Grand Manan Island, extraordinary bird watching, plus whale watching tours - Campobello, Roosevelt Park plus home to one of the most photographed lighthouses in the world, a landmark in itself - Fundy Trail, located in scenic St. Martins, an eco-adventure attraction The province is home to two National Parks.
