Houseplants
- my Aunt who worked in a florist show for years shared this tip with me. To keep leaves on a plant bright and shiny rub a little mayonnaise on the leaves. This keeps the leaves bright for weeks.

Cleaning Eye Glasses
- mix 1 tablespoon to 4 ounces of water. Put in a spray bottle and clean your glasses. Does a great job.

Saving Old Pennies? Here's how to clean them:
- put the penny is a cup of lemon juice with a dash of salt, let stand overnight.

To Shine Chrome
- apply undiluted lemon juice and buff to shine.

Cleaning Silk Floral Arrangements
- fill a spray bottle filled with vinegar. When the silk arrangements get dusty, spray them lightly. This quickly gets rid of the dust and my arrangements look new again!,

Cleaning Paint from Windows
- heat vinegar and then use a cloth to wipe away the paint.

Cabbage Odors
- The smell of cabbage cooking makes me not want to cook it. My grandmother always cooked cabbage and it never smelled like mine does. I asked her the secret -she advised by putting a piece of white bread on top of pot it helped absorb the odors.

Computer Keyboards
- The easiest way to clean a keyboard is to vacuum with the soft brush attachment. You can also turn the keyboard upside down and give it a gentle shake, you will be amazed at the dust and particles that will fall out of it. The tedious task of cleaning the keys can be done by putting a small amount of rubbing alcohol on a soft clean cloth.
