The decision was made
We would sell our home
Move to another province
Live in the country
Give up the city life
The noise and pollution
No more long commutes
Good bye city dwelling
The country is the best
From glorious sunsets
To the peace
And quiet that it offers
The noises we hear
From the bumblebee
To the lone deer
And the cricket chirps.
Neighbors helping each other
Only in the country
The tranquility, the beauty
The friendliness and the solitude
Country living the best there is.
