Below you will find tips on simplified cleaning solutions for cleaning your Laundry Room and for your Laundry using products that are friendly to the environment.

Cleaning your Washing Machine
- to clean out the hoses and unclog any soap scum in your washing machine, pour one cup of vinegar into your washer, and run it through a normal cycle without any clothes in the machine.

Removing Stains
- stains caused by grass, coffee, tea, fruits and berries are often difficult to get out. Soak clothing in full strength vinegar and then wash as usual.

Boost Liquid Laundry Detergent
- add ½ cup of baking soda to your liquid detergent. This will help get your clothes cleaner and brighter.

Cleaning Floors
- mix 1/2 cup of baking soda in a bucket of warm water, mop and rinse clean for fresh, clean floors.

Cleaning Ceramic Tile Floors
- to help preserve the grout, mop the floors with a mixture of white vinegar and warm water. The floor will sparkle and there will be no damage to the grout.

Lightly Soiled Windows
- mix 4 tablespoons of lemon juice to 1 gallon of water

For Heavily Soiled Windows
- mix a quarter cup of white vinegar in a quart of water, works wonders!
