Short Baby Poems

Babies are a gift. We all love them, and they bring out special qualities in each of us.

The words of Vincent van Gogh describes the feeling of a baby well: "If one feels the need of something grand, something infinite, something that makes one feel aware of God, one need not go far to find it. I think that I see something deeper, more infinite, more eternal than the ocean in the expression of the eyes of a little baby when it wakes in the morning and coos or laughs because it sees the sun shining on its cradle."

As you read the short verses we hope it reminds you of how special babies truly are. Feel free to share these with new parents, grandparents and siblings. The poets words have a great way of expressing the miracle of the newborn.

You will find some from famous poets and others by people who are creative. Let their rhymes and verses in these short poems be ones that inspire you.
