Our definition of being frugal is getting more with less money. Making your money go further. The dictionary defines frugal as "thrift".
And, thrift is defined as "economy; careful management; providence. Whether you call it thrifty or frugality it all comes down to getting more for your money.
For many years we did not practice being frugal, we wasted money and goods, we might have been considered pound-foolish. Now living a simple life has taught us how to be frugal. We are earning less money, but it is amazing how much more money we seem to have in our pocket by practicing frugal living!

One of the most common causes of stress is money. Finding ways to get more for your money can result in stress relief. Money will never buy happiness, money can cause you stress, learning how to get more for your money, by being frugal can simplify your life, reduce your stress, and allow you to be content with what you have.
There are many ways to be frugal but still enjoy all life has to offer. For example, have you ever considered backyard vacations rather than the costly resort vacation?
